Afternoon in Arabia

Here are some renders of my latest personal assignment titled, "Afternoon in Arabia." For this concept I was inspired by the artwork of various painters of the Orientalism movement, most notably Arthur Von Ferraris and Jean-Leon Gerome and their depictions of the Middle East. I wanted to focus this concept on the unique stylization of architecture and atmosphere of the region. I modeled this environment using 3DS Max, UV mapped it in Maya, textured it in Substance Painter, rendered it using Arnold and did some post-processing adjustments in Photoshop.
