The Time Machine

I was inspired to make this 3D model by the idea of time travel. I wanted to create a project that highlighted my own interpretation of what a time machine might look like. I used reference from various blockbuster sci-fi and action-adventure movies over the past few decades including Independence Day, Stargate, Iron Man, Terminator, Guardians of the Galaxy, and a few others. I also wanted to create a composition that easily led the viewer's eye to the focal point of the render, while keeping in mind the use of balanced foreground, middleground and background elements to capture a sense of depth.
